Night drift at Raassilla: season finale with a light and fire show
18–19 September 2026 The Estonian drift season will reach a spectacular finale at Raassilla Rallycross Track. The two-day Drifti Superfinaalid 2026 – Night Race's most special part begins on Saturday at 19.00, when the TOP24 night superfinal gets underway on the track in darkness.
This is not just another drift round. At Raassilla, a completely new drift track layout will be used in competition for the first time; the track will get a special lighting setup for the evening superfinal, and the entire race evening will conclude with Inu Tulesticu tule- ja valgusshow.
What makes Raassilla Night Race special?
For spectators, much of the thrill of drifting already comes from speed, tire smoke, engine noise and tandem runs. The Raassilla superfinal adds another element: the competition continues after dark.
On Saturday evening, the eight best drivers in the Street, PRO2 and PRO classes will compete in the superfinal. That makes 24 competitors in total, or TOP24, who will determine the superfinal winners in the season's final showdown.
The track will be lit using a special setup, making Night Race visually quite different from a regular daytime drift competition. Tire smoke, car lights, track lighting and darkness create a format not usually seen during the Estonian drift season.
A completely new Raassilla track layout
The track itself is also new this time. According to the organizer, the superfinal will take place on the new Raassilla drift track layout in 2026 for the first time; this layout has not been used in competition before.
This means that the course of the competition cannot be predicted precisely based on the racing lines seen at previous Raassilla rounds. The new configuration sets new braking points, trajectories and transitions for the drivers, and makes the competition more interesting even for those who have already attended Estonian drift rounds.
Two days of drift competition
Friday is mainly a day for practice and qualifying. Tandem runs begin on Saturday, and the evening moves step by step towards the Night Race superfinal.
| Time | Programme |
|---|---|
| 18 September | Street, PRO2 and PRO training sessions and qualifications |
| 19 September 09.15 | Street tandem battles |
| 19 September 12.45 | PRO2 tandem battles |
| 19 September 16.30 | PRO tandem battles |
| 19 September 19.00 | NIGHT RACE SUPERFINAL TOP24 |
| ~21.15 | Awards ceremony |
The organiser may change the schedule as it goes, so it is worth checking the latest official information from Eesti Drifti Liit before the event.
Street and PRO2 and PRO take to the track
Drivers from Estonia compete in the Street, PRO2 and PRO classes. According to the organiser, there are also competitors from Latvia on the track in the Street class.
While qualifying is primarily about achieving the best possible individual result, Saturday’s tandem battles put cars on the track two at a time. Tandem drifting is often the most intense part of the competition for spectators, as two drivers follow the same line at very close distances.
The evening doesn’t end after the final drift run
After the night superfinal, the programme continues with a show. The competition evening concludes with Inu Tulesticu fire and light show.
Therefore, it is worth setting aside most of Saturday, or coming specifically for the evening programme. If the aim is to experience the atmosphere of Night Race, 19 September evening is the most important part of the whole weekend.
Tickets and prices
According to information published by Piletilevi, a Friday day ticket costs 10 euros, while a Saturday day ticket costs 25 euros. Children aged up to and including 12 years old are admitted free of charge.
There is currently a small price difference between the official channels for a two-day ticket: Piletilevi lists the advance-sale price as 29 euros, while the Eesti Drifti Liit event page lists the competition pass price as 30 euros. Piletilevi may also charge service fees, so when buying, it is worth relying on the final price shown at checkout.
According to Eesti Drifti Liit, tickets are sold at the venue in cash only.
Where is the Raassilla rallycross track located?

Is it worth going?
If a regular motorsport event isn't enough, the Raassilla season finale is one of Estonia's most exciting motorsport events in September. It combines the season's decisive races, a new track, tandem drifting, the TOP24 finale held in the dark, and a fireworks and light show to end the evening.
And even if you don't usually attend drift competitions, it is precisely the nighttime format that makes this event a much more visually striking experience than a regular round.
