The fairy-tale Alice’i võlupark will reopen at Taagepera loss

This summer, Taagepera loss will once again become a place where history, nature and fairy-tale imagination come together to create a complete experience. Wagenküll Castle Spa presents a themed enchanted park in Taagepera lossipark, “Alice’i miljoni õie võlupark”, which will open its doors to visitors from 19 June 2026.

This is not just a summer attraction, but one of the season’s most striking visual events in Lõuna-Eesti. The castle, lush park, thousands of flowers, colourful installations and details inspired by Alice’s world create an environment suitable for a family holiday, a romantic walk or a special photo day.

A fairy tale in the midst of a historic castle park

Taagepera loss is already one of Estonia's most outstanding architectural gems in its own right. The magnificent castle, towers, and well-maintained park provide a striking visual backdrop for the Alice-themed Võlupark. This combination is precisely what makes the event more than an ordinary summer exhibition.

Visitors can look forward to flower-covered areas, themed sculptures, large installations and a colourful magical forest. The park has been designed so that every step leads to another small discovery—whether it is a photogenic flower display, a fairy-tale decoration or a view of the castle that looks like a scene from a film.

An experience for the whole family

Alice’i võlupark is well suited to visitors of different ages. For children, it is an opportunity to step into a fantasy world where everything seems bigger, more colourful and more playful. For adults, the park offers a chance to slow down and enjoy nature, architecture and the summer atmosphere.

It is a great destination for a day trip, a weekend getaway or part of a longer journey of discovery through Lõuna-Eesti. It is especially well suited to those looking for unique places to visit in Estonia with family, friends or guests.

Summer café and castle setting

The visit to Võlupark is complemented by the summer café Alice, which opens during the same period. This offers an opportunity to rest after a walk, enjoy the atmosphere of a summer café, and extend the fairy-tale experience even further.

Taagepera loss and the surrounding park form a cohesive whole where the event, nature and leisure opportunities complement one another. Places like this help show how diverse summer in Estonia can be—not just concerts and fairs, but also memorable visual experiences.

Why is it worth visiting?

Alice’i miljoni õie võlupark is an excellent choice for those looking for something special this summer. It combines nature, historical architecture, fantasy, and a well-designed visual experience. Such an event offers value both to visitors and to the entire region, bringing Taagepera and Southern Estonia back into the spotlight.
