Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend

Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend 2026: an anniversary craft beer festival will take place in Tallinn

29–30 May 2026, Tallinn will host Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend—one of Estonia’s best-known craft beer festivals. This year, the event will take place for the 10th time, bringing breweries from Estonia, Europe and the United States together at Kultuurikatel.

Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend, or TCBW, is returning to the Estonian capital with an anniversary programme. The festival will take place at Kultuurikatel, a former industrial complex near central Tallinn that is now one of the city’s most atmospheric venues for major cultural and experiential events.

According to Visit Estonia, the event will take place on 29 and 30 May 2026 at Kursi tn 3, Põhja-Tallinn. The festival is intended for craft beer enthusiasts, food lovers and everyone seeking new taste experiences and the distinctive atmosphere of a city event.

An internationally renowned festival

Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend has been held since 2015 and has grown over the years into one of Europe’s most prominent craft beer festivals. In 2026, the organisers will celebrate the event’s 10 anniversary and promise an especially strong line-up of participants.

Breweries taking part in the festival come from Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Romania, France and the United States.

Estonian breweries featured in the programme include Põhjala, Anderson, Käbliku, Pühaste, Purtse, Humalakoda, Hiiumaa, Pöide, Pihtla õlleköök, Tuletorn, Vaat and others.

Over 370 different taste experiences

One of the main features of Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend is its buffet-style tasting format. This means that a ticket gives visitors the opportunity to sample a variety of drinks presented at the festival. According to the official website, guests can look forward to more than 370 different beers from international breweries.

Visit Estonia’s description points out that over the course of two days, visitors can sample more than 400 different selections. So this is an event where the focus is not only on quantity but also on a very wide range of flavours.

The organisers place great emphasis on variety. Festivalgoers can expect both experimental beers and rarer aged varieties. This makes the event interesting for experienced craft beer enthusiasts, while also making it suitable for those just beginning to explore the world of craft beer.

The distinctive atmosphere of Kultuurikatel

Ürituse toimumispaigaks on valitud Kultuurikatel, üks Tallinna tuntumaid sündmuspaiku. Ajalooline tööstushoone asub linna südame lähedal ning on aastate jooksul võõrustanud festivale, kontserte, konverentse, näitusi ja muid suuremaid kultuurisündmusi.

A venue like this is especially well suited to Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend: spacious interiors, industrial architecture and a central location create an environment where tastings, socialising and the atmosphere of an international festival blend into a cohesive whole.

Who is the festival for?

Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend is not just for people who have been familiar with the world of craft beer for years. The festival is also suitable for anyone wishing to spend the last weekend of May in Tallinn in a different way, discover new flavours, get to know breweries from various countries and enjoy the atmosphere of a contemporary city event.

The festival may be of particular interest to those drawn to gastronomy, local producers, signature drinks and small-batch brewing—that is, beers made in small quantities, where ideas, flavour and a willingness to experiment take centre stage.
