Renting a holiday home with a sauna in Estonia. (All sources + 20 real options)
If you’re looking for a holiday house with a sauna in Estonia for at least six people, the selection may seem very large at first glance. Holiday houses, sauna houses, forest cabins and accommodation for larger groups can be found in almost every county in Estonia, but the full selection is usually not available on a single booking portal.
Some holiday houses are listed on Booking or Airbnb, some on Estonian tourism portals, and some only on the accommodation provider’s own website. The terms also vary considerably. In one place, the sauna is included in the accommodation price; in another, sauna use costs extra. A “house for 10 people” may mean ten actual beds in one place, while in another some sleeping spaces may be sofas or extra mattresses.
That’s why it’s not worth comparing only the price per night.
This guide features 20 verified holiday houses with saunas and accommodation options across Estonia, suitable for at least six people. For each option, we look at the location, actual capacity, sauna, 2026 price information, additional fees, and who the place is best suited to.
The prices and terms in this article were checked as of 31.08.2026.
Accommodation providers may change prices depending on the season, day of the week, holidays, group size or promotions. Always check the final price on the provider’s own website before paying for your booking.
Where to look for a holiday house with a sauna in Estonia?
You’ll usually get the best results by using several sources at once. Estonia has many excellent small accommodation providers that are not listed on all international booking platforms.
Saunatee.ee
If the most important requirement is specifically a sauna, Saunatee is one of the most useful Estonia-specific sources.
There, you can search for wood-fired saunas, smoke saunas, electric-heater saunas, hot tubs and holiday houses with saunas, and browse sauna venues by county.
Maaturism.ee
Maaturism is especially useful if you’re looking for a holiday house in the countryside, by a lake or river, in the forest or in a smaller Estonian location.
Many of the properties listed there are family businesses and tourism farms that may not be visible at all on large international platforms.
Booking.com
On Booking, it’s worth searching for entire holiday houses, villas and holiday home-type accommodation, and checking separately whether a sauna is available.
It’s important to check whether you’re booking an entire house or just a room in an accommodation establishment. For a larger group, it’s worth entering the correct number of people straight away, because the options shown for six people may be quite different from those shown for two.
Airbnb
Airbnb can be useful for finding smaller private houses, especially if you’re looking for a place in nature or in a less well-known area.
Here too, it is worth checking whether the sauna is actually for your group's private use or is located in a shared area.
Directly from the accommodation provider’s own website
The holiday home's own website is often the most important source for checking prices.
There you can usually find the most accurate information about whether the sauna is included in the price, how much a hot tub costs, whether VAT is charged, what the minimum number of nights is, and whether parties are allowed at the house.
20 holiday homes with saunas in Estonia for at least 6 people
For the options listed below, we have used the accommodation providers’ own 2026 price lists and terms wherever possible.
Harju County
1. Uneallika Puhketalu – Lättekoda
Capacity: 11 people, up to a maximum of 15
Sauna: included in the price
Price: during the summer season, Sun–Thu 440 € per night, Fri–Sat 490 € per night; in winter, Sun–Thu 390 € per night, Fri–Sat 415 € per night
Uneallika Lättekoda is well suited to a group that wants a more private house near Tallinn but is not looking for a classic large party house.
According to the price list valid for 2026, Lättekoda usually costs 440 € per night from Sunday to Thursday and 490 € from Friday to Saturday between May and October. In July, the price is 490 € per night.
From November to April, prices are lower: 390 € Sun–Thu and 415 € Fri–Sat.
An important advantage is that Uneallika's price list specifically states: use of the sauna, bed linen and a sauna towel are included in the accommodation price. Lättekoda normally accommodates 11 people, with a maximum capacity of 15.
Suitable for: a family holiday, a group of friends, a smaller team, a quiet birthday celebration or a weekend in nature.
What to note: special prices apply on Midsummer Day, during Christmas and over New Year.
2. Uuejärve Matkapesa
Capacity: 14 people in beds
Sauna: wood-fired farmhouse sauna
Price: 325 € per day on weekdays, 425 € per day Fri–Sun; during the winter season, 490 € and 590 €
Uuejärve Matkapesa is suitable for those who associate a holiday home primarily with nature, forests, hiking and a sauna.
The second floor of the renovated log house has four bedrooms, with beds accommodating a total of 14 guests. This is an important clarification because the property also mentions a covered terrace and camping area for up to 20 people, but these do not mean there are 20 beds in the house.
On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, a living room, a large dining table, a toilet, and a washroom. Outside, there is a covered terrace and barbecue facilities.
According to the official price list, homestay accommodation with a sauna costs 325 €/night on weekdays and 425 €/night from Friday to Sunday. During the winter season, the prices are 490 € and 590 €, respectively. A home-style breakfast is also included in the accommodation price.
Suitable for: a hiking group, a group of friends, a nature getaway, a family or a small company outing.
What to note: this is intentionally a nature-oriented homestay. During the summer season, separate camping and alternative accommodation options are available.
3. Endla Turismitalu – Saunamaja
Capacity: 16 overnight guests, fireplace hall for up to 22 people
Sauna: large wood-fired sauna
Price: 290 € / 20 hours + VAT
Hot tub: 125 €
Endla Turismitalu Saunamaja is a good choice if you want to combine a sauna, a communal space, and proper overnight accommodation.
On the second floor of the sauna house, there are sleeping places for 16 people. The fireplace hall can seat up to 22 people at the table. The sauna has a large wood-burning heater, and a hot tub is available on the terrace.
According to the pricing information for 2026, renting the sauna house costs 290 € from 16.00 until 12.00 the next day, or 20 hours in total. VAT is added to the price. Special prices apply on New Year's Eve and Midsummer: 500 €.
Using the hot tub costs 125 €.
Endla is located near Tallinn, in Koppelmaa, making it a good choice if some of your group is coming from Tallinn and does not want to travel very far.
Suitable for: birthdays, family gatherings, groups of friends, or smaller company events.
Things to note: VAT is added to the price, and the hot tub is not included in the basic rental price.
Valgamaa and Otepää
4. RMK Soontaga metsamaja
Capacity: 6 people
Sauna: available
Price: 85 €/ööpäev
Pets: 5 €/ööpäev
If you want a truly simple getaway in the woods, Soontaga is one of the most distinctive options on this list.
The house accommodates six people and has a wood-burning stove, a table and benches, sleeping platforms, and a sauna. Outside, there is a fire pit and a dry toilet.
However, you should not expect hotel comforts. The house has no electricity or drinking water and guests must bring drinking water, sleeping gear, and most of the equipment needed for cooking.
Hind on 85 €/ööpäev. Maja on kasutamiseks avatud 1. aprillist 31. detsembrini.
Suitable for: up to six people who want peace and quiet, a sauna, hiking, and a holiday as close to nature as possible.
Things to note: the house must be tidied up by guests after use, and RMK asks, among other things, that the floor be washed.
5. Pilkuse Puhkemaja
Capacity: up to 12 people
Sauna: house sauna included in the price
Price: 380 €/night
Weekend: 500 € Friday 15.00 – Sunday 12.00
Pilkuse Puhkemaja is located near Otepää and is a good choice if you want to be close to activities in the area while staying in a private place.
The house is rented as a whole. The price for one night is 380€, but the weekend package is particularly attractive: from Friday afternoon until Sunday noon, the rental costs 500€.
The price includes use of the house sauna, bed linen, and towels. A separate wood-fired sauna by the pond costs 35 €.
Suitable for: a group of friends, a family, an Otepää weekend, a skiing or active holiday group.
What to note: for 8–12 people, the weekend package costing 500 euros may be very reasonably priced per person.
6. Truuta Puhkemaja – Külalistemaja
Capacity: up to 10 people
Sauna: on the ground floor of the guesthouse
Price: up to 6 guests: 250 € per night, each additional guest +30 €
In the case of Truuta, the old pricing information was misleading because the price of 200 euros applied only to the smaller ground-floor option.
According to the price list updated in June 2026, the entire guesthouse costs 250 € per night for up to six guests and each additional guest costs an extra 30 €. The house can accommodate a maximum of 10 people.
The first floor of the guesthouse has a living room with a fireplace, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a sauna. A 5% discount is currently also offered for stays longer than one night.
In addition, you can order the smoke sauna to be heated for 200 € or the oval sauna for 50 €.
Suitable for: 6–10 people looking for quieter accommodation in South Estonia and wanting a sauna.
What to note: do not look only at the price of accommodation on the ground floor – for a larger group, you need to consider the price of the entire guesthouse.
Ida-Virumaa
7. Karukella Puhkemaja
Capacity: up to 10 people at the base price
Sauna: included in the accommodation
Additionally: a year-round heated hot tub
Price: 600 € during the autumn-winter season, 700 € during the summer season
Karukella is more of a high-comfort holiday home than a simple sauna house.
According to the 2026 price list, accommodation for up to ten people costs 600 € from 1 October to 1 June and 700 € from 1 June to 30 September. On Midsummer's Day, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, one night costs 900 €.
One of the house's strongest features is the year-round heated outdoor pool available to guests next to the sauna. It is therefore a good option for a group that wants a little more comfort from a sauna house.
Suitable for: a group of friends, an adults' weekend, a family, an anniversary, or a small company outing.
What to note: Karukella itself emphasizes that it is not the cheapest holiday home in the area. Compare the price with the amenities already included in the package.

Sauna: large sauna for up to 10 people
Additionally: hot tub and barrel sauna

Sauna: Finnish sauna; the more expensive package also includes a smoke sauna

Sauna: available
Price: party hall with sauna 400 € + accommodation 100 €

VAT: 24% is added to the prices
Kivi Puhkemajade Väike Peomaja is ideal when more people attend the evening event but no more than ten stay overnight.

These prices are exclusive of VAT, and 24% KM is added to them.
This means that the option with a sauna and overnight accommodation costs 500 € before VAT. With a hot tub, it costs 600 €.
The function room can accommodate up to 30 people, but there are sleeping places for ten. This difference should definitely be taken into account when booking.
Suitable for: birthdays, smaller parties, groups of friends, family events.

Price comparison of holiday homes with saunas 2026
For holiday homes, the total price may vary considerably, but for a larger group, it is always worth calculating the price per person.
| Holiday home | Capacity | Public rate / standard rate | Sauna |
|---|---|---|---|
| RMK Soontaga | 6 | 85 €/night | available |
| Paluküla Saunamaja | 8 | 140 €/night for 6–8 people | included in the price |
| Kullipera | 6 or 10 | 215 € / 299 € | +40 €/2h |
| Truuta | up to 10 | 250 € for up to 6 people | in the house |
| Spithami Suur Puhkemaja | 8 | 290 € + KM | included in the price |
| Endla Saunamaja | 16 | 290 € + KM | included in the price |
| Uuejärve Matkapesa | 14 | 325 € on weekdays | included in the package |
| Rootsimaa | 10 | 340 € / 1 night | included in the price |
| Pilkuse | up to 12 | 380 €/night | included in the price |
| Kargaja Kuke | up to 12 | 420 €/night | included in the package |
| Taevaskoja Väike Puhkemaja | up to 12 | From 420€ | with a hot tub |
| Vanasauna | 21 places in the complex | entire complex 450 € | available |
| Ermistu Saunamaja | 13 | 495 €/night | included in the price |
| Õnneoru | 8 | 500 €/night | included in the price |
| Kivi Väike Peomaja | 10 overnight guests | 500 € + KM with sauna and accommodation | included in the package |
| Suurejõe | 26 | 590 €/night on weekdays | included in the price |
| Karukella | up to 10 | 600–700 € | included in the price |
| Krapi | 22 + children's beds | 680–700 € + 13% KM | included in the price |
| Hapsal | up to 10 | dynamic, from 150 €/day | 2 saunas |
| Uneallika Lättekoda | 11, max 15 | 390–490 € | included in the price |
The table clearly shows why you should not decide based solely on the total price.
For example, Suurejõe at 590 euros may be cheaper per person for 20 guests than a house for six people at 215 euros. At the same time, a more expensive private house may offer more amenities, a hot tub, a larger kitchen or a better location.
Which holiday home should you choose for 6–8 people?
For six to eight people, particularly suitable options in this selection are Paluküla Saunamaja, Spithami Suur Puhkemaja, the six-person option at Kullipera, RMK Soontaga metsamaja and Õnneoru.
If price is the most important factor, Soontaga and Paluküla stand out.
If you want more amenities, it is worth comparing Spithami, Hapsal and Õnneoru.
Which holiday home with a sauna is suitable for 10–15 people?
For 10–15 people, the options are already quite different.
Uuejärve accommodates 14 people in beds, Uneallika Lättekoda kuni 15, Taevaskoja Väike Puhkemaja kuni 12, Pilkuse up to 12, and Ermistu Saunamaja 13 people.
If the sauna experience itself is the main goal, the Kargaja Kuke saunapakett for up to 12 people is also a very strong option.
Which holiday home is suitable for a large group?
Kui ööbijaid on üle 15, vaata eelkõige Endla Saunamaja, Krapi Külalistemaja, Vanasauna kompleksi ja Suurejõe Puhkemaja.
Of these, Suurejõe accommodates 26 overnight guests, and Krapi accommodates 22 people plus cots.
For a large group, a house costing 500–700 euros may seem expensive at first, but when split among 20 people, accommodation often comes to around 25–35 euros per person.
Is a cheaper holiday home always the better choice?
No.
The 85-euro RMK forest cabin offers very good value, but it has no electricity or drinking water, and guests must bring much of the equipment themselves.
Teises äärmuses võivad 500–700 eurot maksvad majad sisaldada voodipesu, sauna, kümblustünni või mullivanni, täielikult varustatud kööki, mitut WC-d ja mugavaid magamistube.
Therefore, it is worth comparing not only the price but the entire package.
Checklist before booking a holiday home
- Check the actual number of sleeping places. “Accommodates 20 people” may refer to the capacity of the party hall, not 20 beds. Check the numbers of beds, sofa beds, mattresses and extra beds separately.
- Check whether the sauna is included in the price. “Sauna available” and “sauna included in the price” are two completely different things. At Kullipera, for example, use of the sauna costs extra, while at Pilkuse the house sauna is included in the price.
- Check the price of the bathing barrel. It is one of the most common additional charges. At the accommodation establishments featured in this article, a bathing barrel may cost tens or more than a hundred euros extra.
- Check whether VAT is added to the price. For Krapi, Spithami, Endla and Kivi, the price list should be read especially carefully. 500 € + KM is not the same as a final price of 500 €.
- Check the cleaning fee and security deposit. Hapsal Puhkemaja, for example, has a mandatory 60-euro cleaning fee and a 200-euro security deposit.
- Check the party rules and quiet hours. Not all holiday homes are party houses. Some places allow birthday parties and corporate events, while others are intended only for peaceful accommodation.
- Check the minimum number of nights. In popular summer areas, a minimum booking of two or three nights may apply in June, July and August.
Sauna, hot tub, or both?
If a bathing barrel is also important in addition to a sauna, check the terms particularly carefully.
At Taevaskoja Väikese Puhkemaja, the sauna and hot tub are included in the whole-house package. At Hapsal, the hot tub is part of the house's spa-like setup.
At Spithami, the hot tub at Suure Puhkemaja costs an additional 80 €, at Endla it costs 125 €, and at Kivi Väikese Peomaja the hot tub costs 100 € + KM.
Karukella stands out because the accommodation has a warm year-round outdoor pool.
Is it more practical to rent a holiday home for one night or several nights?
Often into several.
The clearest examples are Rootsimaa and Õnneoru on Saaremaa.
Rootsimaa costs 340 € for one night, while two nights also cost a total of 340 €. Õnneoru costs 500 € for one night, while two nights likewise cost a total of 500 €.
At Pilkuse, one night costs 380 €, while an entire weekend from Friday to Sunday costs 500 €.
If your dates are flexible, it is therefore always worth comparing the total price for one, two, and three nights.
Can you rent a holiday home with a sauna in Estonia for under 200 euros?
Yes, but the selection is smaller.
On this list, RMK Soontaga metsamaja costs 85 €/night, while Paluküla Saunamaja for six to eight people costs 140–160 €/night.
For the selected dates, Hapsal displays a price starting from 150 €/day for a two-day booking, but a mandatory cleaning fee is added.
When the price is lower, it is always worth checking which amenities and services are included.
How much does a holiday home with a sauna cost in Estonia in 2026?
There is no single “correct” average price.
For six to eight people, you can find simpler accommodation with a sauna for around 100–300 euros per night.
For 10–15 people, the price of the entire house often falls between 250–500 euros in total.
Larger holiday homes with 20 or more beds often cost 450–750 euros per day, but their price per person may be more affordable.
A premium-type house that, in addition to a sauna, has a hot tub, bathing barrel, swimming pool or other spa amenities may cost 500–700 euros or more.
Is use of the sauna usually included in the price of the holiday home?
Not always.
At Uneallika, Pilkuse and Rootsimaa, use of the sauna is included in the price.
At Kullipera, the sauna costs extra.
For Kivi and several other party houses, the price depends on the combination of services selected.
Therefore, this must always be checked separately before booking.
Can a holiday home be rented for a birthday or party?
Some can be, while others cannot.
Suurejõe, Kivi, Endla and Krapi are also suitable for various gatherings.
However, Õnneoru explicitly states in its terms that the house is not rented out for events.
Even smaller houses intended for a peaceful nature getaway may have strict quiet-hour requirements.
Which region in Estonia is best for holiday homes with a sauna?
There is no single best region.
If you are looking near Tallinn, the selection in Harju County is convenient and easy to reach.
Otepää, Võrumaa and Põlvamaa are good choices if you want to combine a sauna with hiking or an active holiday.
Pärnu County has many houses suitable for larger groups.

Summary: how to choose the best holiday home with a sauna?
There is a very wide selection of holiday homes with saunas in Estonia, but the best option depends more on the size of the group and the desired amenities than simply on the price per night.
For six people, a 140-euro sauna house can be an excellent option. For twenty people, however, a large 600-euro holiday home may actually be cheaper per person.
Before booking, always check the actual number of beds, the sauna price, the hot tub surcharge, VAT, the cleaning fee, party rules, and the minimum number of nights.
The most important thing is to compare the final price for the whole group, not just the lowest figure shown on the accommodation's front page.
Accommodation providers have the right to change their prices and terms. Before travelling or paying for a booking, always check the latest information on the service provider's official website.
Do you offer a holiday home, sauna or other accommodation service in Estonia?
On Easyfind, each listing can work like a small dedicated page for a company or service.
You can add a service description, photos, a video, a price list or another PDF file, company information and a quick contact option. This allows customers to understand, even before getting in touch, where the accommodation is located, who it is suitable for, what the price includes and how to book.
In addition, special offers and expert articles can be published on Easyfind, helping the service gain visibility not only on social media but also in search results.
If you offer a holiday home, sauna, tourist farm, campsite or other accommodation in Estonia, you can add your offer to Easyfind and make it easier for customers to find.
